Class 5, Assignment 5: TEXTURE MAPPING

** _____ Flat Shaded Objects _____ **

The back of this sign appears to be a flat shaded, tan object.  No details are apparent beyond color.

The orange jars are flat shaded and have no texture.

Steve's hard hat is a flat shaded, yellow.

** _____ Texture Mapping _____ **

These hay bales are an excellent example of texture mapping.  By "wrapping" the 3D object in a bitmap image we are easily able to tell that these rectangles are meant to be bales of hay rather than say... bars of soap.

The image wrapped around this 3D cylinder helps us identify the object as as wooden post. 

This tree is wrapped in a wooden texture map.  Notice that this wooden texture is different than the post in the image above.  This helps add even more detail to the environment.
